D. Strategy for the Development of an Environmentally Friendly Hydrogen Industry in South Africa & Namibia

JOINT “SUNRISE SA HQ CO-OPERATIVE LIMITED” GREEN HUDROGEN PROJECT

Our international team of the BSV company has done a lot of work to create a fundamentally a new approach in the development of solar-wind energy generator, namely, the creation of a series of wind turbines with a vertical axis rotation type "Tornado Towers".
This design is by far the most promising for creating generators of small and medium power - from 5 kW to 100 kW.

This is the most modern and perfect design that allows you to generate electricity as if low wind speeds (from 0.5 m/s to hurricane winds).
Wind turbines of small and medium power of this type are widely used in the United States.
The only drawback of this design is bulkiness.

Our task was to keep the principle of formation of tornado vortex flows and reduce height of the "Tornado Tower" and increase the efficiency of the wind turbine by combining two kinetic energies - wind energy and the energy of ascending air currents.

Preliminary calculations by changing the dimensions of the "Tornado Tower" and creating conditions for the occurrence
vortex inside the proposed design showed the possibility of changing the design of the wind turbine and reducing its size without losing power.
Samples that were made according to the proposed mathematical models showed the advantages of this way of obtaining energy both at minimum wind speeds and at maximum.

In the process of selection and research of materials for the manufacture of the main parts of this wind turbine unique composite materials were obtained using as one of the components two and three-layer graphene dispersions, which allows the use of this technology in other areas mechanical engineering, including the aircraft industry.

Strategy Objective: South Africa and Namibia aims to become one of the world's leading producers of environmentally friendly hydrogen, using its vast renewable energy resources to drive economic growth and support global decarbonization goals. The strategy is aimed at creating a large-scale hydrogen industry that will help diversify the country's economy, create new jobs and strengthen the energy security of the region.

The Main Directions of The Strategy:

Development of hydrogen production infrastructure:

In various regions of Namibia, such as coastal zones and the Namib Desert, it is planned to build hydrogen production plants using solar and wind power plants. These regions have significant renewable energy potential, which will create sustainable and competitive hydrogen clusters.

Investments in technology and innovation:

The strategy includes support for research and development in the field of hydrogen technologies, including the production, storage and transportation of hydrogen. This is aimed at attracting international investments and partners interested in creating innovative solutions for the global hydrogen economy.

Building export potential:

Namibia plans to become a major exporter of environmentally friendly hydrogen, supplying it to international markets such as Europe and Asia, where demand for decarbonized energy sources is growing. This will help attract foreign currency and strengthen the country's trade balance.

Job creation and community development:

The implementation of hydrogen production projects will ensure the creation of jobs in the construction, operation and maintenance of installations, which is especially important for rural regions. The training and retraining of the local population will contribute to the development of a skilled workforce in the field of renewable energy.

Cooperation with international partners:

Namibia is actively seeking strategic partnerships with international corporations, governments and research institutes to jointly develop hydrogen projects. This cooperation will support technological development and attract the necessary capital to implement the country's ambitious plans.

Support for decarbonization and climate goals:

The development of the hydrogen industry will be an important contribution of Namibia to achieving the goals of reducing greenhouse gas emissions at both the national and global levels. The use of environmentally friendly hydrogen will help decarbonize heavy industry and transportation, providing clean energy for various sectors of the economy.

Conclusion: Namibia's Clean Hydrogen Industry Development Strategy aims to create sustainable and inclusive growth that supports national interests and global efforts to combat climate change. This ambitious vision will allow the country to take a leading position in the new green economy, playing a key role in the world's transition to a more sustainable energy future.
